Lung Transplant!!

Hi Everyone!!

April is organ donation awareness month and I just found out some amazing news!!! I have been following a blog about a man who's wife has cf and is in need of a lung transplant. Right as she was being put on the list for the lung transplant she found out she was pregnant and they decided to keep the baby even though it put her at very high risk of losing her life. She ended up going into labor at 24 weeks and so far the baby is doing great. But Tricia (the wife w/ cf) Had to be put on a ventaltor to breath for her when she had the baby. Her lungs could no longer do it on their own. She was put back on the list for a lung transplant. Most people when put on a vent will not make it to receive new lungs. She has been waiting 3 months (which is amazing considering she has been on the vent for that long also) and today got the call that they had a match!!! She is in surgery now so please if you have a moment pray that she makes it through and all goes well. And also please pray for the donor's family. What a great gift!
