Kyler started track this week!! I think he is going to be really good at it!! He is pretty fast! He has 2 baseball games left then one more baseball tournament so track is starting up at the right time. Branson is a year too young to be in track but next year we will put him in. Branson is going to start coach pitch baseball in the next few weeks after soccer. Here are a few pictures of Kyler at track practice and them being monkeys. :)
I got this book a few months ago because I was just kind of bored with my makeup and wanted some new ideas for eye shadows, ect and this book blew me out of the water!! It has pictures of regular woman (not perfect supermodels with perfect faces and skin) before and after the makeup was applied. It teaches about highlighting and shadowing and face shapes, ect. It is very easy to understand and how to apply makeup different ways. Lots and Lots of pictures which I love! So if you need some new ideas for makeup get this book asap!!
ps. I also emailed the author to ask a question about bases and he emailed me back!! How awesome is that?

May is CF Awareness Month
The CF Foundation today praised the U.S. Senate for passing legislation to recognize May 2008 as National Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month.
Advanced by CF champions Senators Patty Murray (D-Wash.) and James Inhofe (R-Okla.), the bill increases public awareness for the disease and the unique challenges faced by those with cystic fibrosis. Support for the measure came from people with CF, and their friends and families, who asked their members of Congress to join the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in our efforts to find a cure or control for CF.
The U.S. House of Representatives is considering a similar version of the cystic fibrosis awareness legislation. Just four more Representatives need to sign on in order for the House bill to come to a vote.

my life. I have a friend whose husband's father was on the transplant list for a new heart. I can't remember the details of why he needed a new heart but do remember his chances of getting one were slim. They didn't expect him to make it. My friend and her husband got married and his dad was his best man. He was very weak and to be honest, I don't think anyone there thought he would live much longer. That was in Oct. The months rolled on and I think he went into the hospital right after Christmas and wouldn't be leaving without a new heart. He held on. They got the call in May and had found a heart for him!! He had his transplant and was out of the hospital by June!! That was 9 years ago and he is still doing great!! Had he not gotten his new heart he would of missed out on seeing his first grandson born two years later and then another grandson born 6 years later. So please, if you haven't already, consider being an organ donor and give the best gift of all...the gift of life!
April is almost over so I thought this would be a good BUMP for the day!!
Again, as I've written before, thank you to those of you who are donors, and to those of you who have watched a family member or friend give the gift of life through death.
April is Organ Donation Month in the US. The only reason there is a waiting list for transplant patients is because there are far too few who have seriously considered giving the gift of life to another. Please, if you haven't already, consider becoming a donor today.
Thank you so much!!
Well I have been trying something different. Instead of counting calories and keeping to certain
meals a day I am eating as much as I want as long as it is things like fruit, vegies, ect during the day. With meals I am trying to do something like a salad at one meal and then something more at dinner like steak and vegies, ect. So far I am back where I was on Fri where I had lost a 1 1/2 (I gained it back on the weekend). I got back down the 1 1/2 on tues but have stayed there. I have not been able to work out the last couple of days so I think I might be down more if I did work out. I think I am going to change the meal and have the heavier meal at lunch and lighter meal at dinner. That sometimes can be tricky because if I have the heavier meal at lunch and then something comes up and I end up eating another heavy meal at dinner too. But I am going to try this for a few days and see what happens. I have been eating lots of water melon, grapes, canolope.
It is very tasty!! Love the water melon this time of year!!! Happy eating to everyone!!
Early morning walks on Sat and Sun around my neighborhood. With all the hills and trees it is very peaceful.
Watching miracles happen and unfold. They really are all around.
Watching my dog sleep in weird positions. For a big dog she can look so small when she is sleeping and cute!
Drinking ice water. I almost forgot how much I like this one since I have had bottle water for so long. Try it...you will remember too!
Donating...it really does make you feel good!
Watching horses play
Evening night walks with my family

When Branson was 4 years old he came up to me and told me I needed to buy
Mr Clean products because a bald man will pop out and help me clean the house.
He said the bald guy seems really nice and could just really help me keep the house
clean. Haha! Awww....advertising, it works! If only a bald guy really did pop out to help

off the wagon into fast food, fried food, and just too much food all since Sat afternoon. I failed but I am determined to get back up on the horse.....again. The sad thing is when I do eat the wrong food, I still don't eat all of it. I usually eat less than half but I guess it is about eating it all the time. Ok time to climb back up on the horse again...I will let ya know how it goes!
