May is CF Awareness Month!!

May is CF Awareness Month The CF Foundation today praised the U.S. Senate for passing legislation to recognize May 2008 as National Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month. Advanced by CF champions Senators Patty Murray (D-Wash.) and James Inhofe (R-Okla.), the bill increases public awareness for the disease and the unique challenges faced by those with cystic fibrosis. Support for the measure came from people with CF, and their friends and families, who asked their members of Congress to join the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in our efforts to find a cure or control for CF. The U.S. House of Representatives is considering a similar version of the cystic fibrosis awareness legislation. Just four more Representatives need to sign on in order for the House bill to come to a vote. Ask your Representative to sign on today!
